The MOA was signed in this virtual (online) meeting by <strong>Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat,<\/strong> President of KU, and <strong>Dr. Kazuhiro Shiozaki<\/strong>, President of NAIST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was also witnessed by the Honorable guests, UN\/SEED-Net, JICA, and the ICE-Matter consortium, as well as the executives and professors from both universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Executives from NAIST<\/strong> &#8211; Prof. Jun Ohta, Executive Director\/Vice President for Research &amp; International Affairs, Dr. Tsukasa Ogasawara, Executive Director\/Vice President for Education &amp; Student Support, Prof. Tsuyoshi Kawai, Dean, Graduate School of Science and Technology.<br><strong>Executives from KU <\/strong>&#8211; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peerayuth Chansethikul, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Srijidtra Charoenlarpnopparut Dean of the Graduate School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sureerat Pholsilp, Head of Department of Materials Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Patamaporn Sripadungtham, Vice Dean for International Affairs  and Asst. The first class of students will be admitted to this Double Degree program in the Fall (autumn) semester of the 2022 Academic Year. The students will spend their first 3 semesters at KU and their last 3 semesters at NAIST, culminating in two master&#8217;s degrees from both universities. The Double Degree Program will strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutes and produce outstanding graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reference: ICE-Matter <a
