The Faculty of Engineering extends its heartfelt congratulations to both of our teams of Engineering students, SKUBA-Jr and SKUBA-DS, for their success at the RoboCup Japan Open 2023, where they won four prizes. The competition was held in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, between 3 and 7 May 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SKUBA-Jr team won the first prize in the Open Challenge competition as well as the first prize in the Best Technique category during the Home Robot competition in the Education category. SKUBA-DS achieved the 3rd overall rank and third place for the Best Technical Score from the RoboCup@Home Open Platform edition. A total of 24 teams participated in this contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SKUBA-DS and SKUBA-Jr team members consist of undergraduate and graduate level electrical engineering students, in addition to international undergraduate program (IUP) students, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanjanapan Sukvichai acting as their team advisor<\/p>\n\n\n\n
