The Department of Aerospace Engineering hosted the Southeast Asia Workshop on Aerospace Engineering (SAWAE 2023) from November 15 to 17, 2023. At the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siripon Anantaworasakul, Vice Dean for Research and Innovation, and Dr. Navatasn Kongsamutr, Head of the Aerospace Engineering Department, presided over the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAWAE 2023, an annual international academic conference in aerospace engineering, was organized in collaboration with member institutions of the Southeast Asia Network on Aerospace Engineering (SANAE). This year, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siripong Atipan chaired the project. Participating institutions included Kasetsart University, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in Vietnam, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference provided a platform for professors, researchers, and scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds to present research papers. Topics covered ranged from aerospace engineering and technology to aviation sustainability and management. A total of 59 works were presented, comprising 42 international submissions and 7 domestic submissions. Participants shared academic papers, research projects, and ideas, contributing to the development of aerospace engineering and technology while fostering knowledge exchange and future collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
