On January 15, 2024, Prof. Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, together with executives from the department of chemical engineering, materials engineering, water resources engineering, mechanical engineering and faculty members, welcomed Prof. Dr. Sinn-wen Chen, Chair Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, from National Tsing Hua University and the President of Materials Research Society-Taiwan to the university. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential research collaborations between the institutions, as well as explore opportunities for student and faculty exchanges. Prof. Chen also introduced the Centre of Clean Water and Sustainable Energy (WISE Center), an impactful research project focused on water sustainability issues in the Mekong River area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to the discussion, Prof. Chen was given a tour of the chemical engineering laboratories by Prof. Dr. Metta Charoenpanich and other faculty members. Overall, it was a fruitful meeting that laid the foundation for future collaborative efforts between the two institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
