January 23, 2024<\/strong> – Asst. Prof. Dr. Patamaporn Sripadungtham, Vice Dean for International Affairs, along with administrators and faculty members from the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, welcomed a delegation from Harbin Engineering University (HEU), People’s Republic of China. During the visit, both institutions presented topics and research areas, engaging in discussions about collaborative research directions. The meeting took place in Room 0203, Chuchat Kamphu Building, Faculty of Engineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the discussions, the HEU delegation toured the Underwater Automatic Vehicle (UAV) laboratory and the robotics innovation facilities at the Department of Electrical Engineering. For the afternoon session, the HEU representatives delivered informative sessions on Power and Energy, as well as AI & Machine Learning, to students and faculty members. They also provided insights into study programs and scholarship opportunities in the People’s Republic of China. These sessions were conducted in the Mechanical Engineering Department meeting room and the Auditorium of the International Building, Faculty of Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

January 25, 2024<\/strong> – The faculty welcomed a delegation of professors from Harbin Engineering University (HEU), People’s Republic of China. The delegation was led by Professor Mao JIZE, Dean of the College of Aerospace and Civil Engineering. The purpose of their visit was to explore research collaboration and discuss the development of educational programs in conjunction with the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering.
During the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Suphawut Malaikrisanachalee, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, and Dr. Navatasn Kongsamutr, Head of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, joined the discussion. The meeting took place at the Vice Dean’s reception room in the Chuchat Kamphu Building of the Faculty of Engineering.
Following the discussions, the HEU professors had the opportunity to visit classrooms and laboratories within the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Faculty members from both departments actively participated in welcoming and guiding the visiting delegation.<\/p>\n
