On August 5, 2024, the Energy and Environmental Engineering Center, Bangkhen, in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute (KURDI), organized the opening ceremony of “The 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Environmental Technology for Circular Economy (SEECE-2024)”. Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, Acting President of Kasetsart University, presided over the opening ceremony. Professor Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor Dr. Weerachai Chaiworapuek, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Associate Professor Dr. Chinnathan Areeprasert, Head of the Energy and Environmental Engineering Center, Bangkhen, jointly welcomed participants from both Thailand and abroad who are interested in energy and environmental technology to share knowledge and exchange experiences in developing the circular economy. The event was held at the conference room on the 18th-19th floor of the Mechanical Engineering Department building (Building 6).

The conference featured special lectures from distinguished guest speakers, including Prof. Dr. Kunio Yoshikawa (Professor Emeritus of Tokyo Institute of Technology), Prof. Dr. Jeffrey Cross from the Department of Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering, School of Environment and Society, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Prof. Dr. Her-Terng Yau, Director of Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations, National Chung Cheng University, and Dr. Sakprayut Sinthupinyo from Siam Research and Innovation Co., Ltd. The Siam Cement PCL, Thailand (SCG). The event also included research presentations from participants in both oral and poster formats, covering topics related to the development of environmentally friendly technologies, efficient resource utilization, and the creation of sustainable circular economy systems. Additionally, there was an exhibition where entrepreneurs showcased their works and products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This conference was held from August 4-6, 2024, with the objective of creating a platform for researchers, experts, students, and entrepreneurs to jointly present new research findings and innovations in sustainable energy and environmental management.<\/p>\n
