On April 23, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, had the honor of hosting a delegation from the International Office of Soochow University, China. The visit aimed to foster academic collaboration and joint research in science, engineering, and medical fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the morning, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchat Leungprasert, Vice Dean for Administration, warmly welcomed the visitors on behalf of the faculty, alongside executives and faculty members from the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, and the International College. The discussions focused on summer program initiatives, preparations for international students, and potential joint activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight of the visit included a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chawalit Kittichaikarn, Director of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), to explore opportunities for student exchange and collaboration at the undergraduate level. Both sides expressed enthusiasm for establishing structured pathways for mobility and academic enrichment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Department of Chemical Engineering and toured the Nanotechnology Laboratory led by Prof. Dr. Thongthai Witoon and Assoc. Prof. Waleeporn Donphai. Engaging conversations were held on advanced materials research, and mutual interest in collaborative innovation was evident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation expressed deep appreciation for the warm welcome and professional exchange, particularly acknowledging Prof. Dr. Wanwipa Vongsangnak, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, for her leadership in fostering international partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit marks a significant milestone in building bridges between Kasetsart University and Soochow University\u2014expanding global academic opportunities for students, staff, and researchers alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
