On May 12, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Chinnathan Areeprasert from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, along with Dr. Chanoknunt Khaobang, a postdoctoral researcher, and graduate students Mr. Natthaphon Yutthakan, Mr. Preechachan Buaban, and Ms. Atittaya Saensuk, participated in the International Symposium on Renewable Energy: Shaping a Sustainable Future<\/em> held at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, People\u2019s Republic of China, from May 12\u201316, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the symposium, Associate Professor Dr. Chinnathan was invited to deliver a keynote presentation on the topic \u201cRecent Research on Biomass Gasification and Carbon Dioxide Utilization at the Waste & Biomass Conversion Laboratory – Kasetsart University.\u201d<\/em> The event brought together researchers from China, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom to share and present their research on renewable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participation aimed to foster knowledge exchange and strengthen research collaborations on biomass and waste conversion between Thailand and other countries in the region. This initiative is expected to enhance the visibility and impact of Thai research in the international arena.<\/p>\n
