On Thursday, 11 September 2025, at 10.00 a.m., Kasetsart University hosted a high-level meeting with representatives from Kanazawa University, Japan, at Meeting Room 9, 2nd Floor, Kasetsart Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center, Bangkhen Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The KU delegation was led by Professor Dokrak Marod, Ph.D., Vice President for Research and Internationalization, together with KU executives and faculty members, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Ms. Kamonrat Shenwirattanapith, Kanazawa University Bangkok Office<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Kanazawa University, a Japanese national university, first began its partnership with KU in January 2015. It is one of 48 Japanese universities with offices in Thailand (JSPS Bangkok Office, 2023). With 4 colleges and 16 schools, Kanazawa University has welcomed a significant number of KU students through its exchange programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      During the meeting, KU representatives introduced their faculties and units, sharing proposals for future collaboration. The Graduate School, for example, suggested establishing a Double Degree Program to strengthen academic cooperation. Currently, the KU Graduate School maintains nearly 100 active international partnerships, with Kanazawa University expected to become a new strategic partner. The Faculty of Medicine also presented an introductory video of its programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Looking ahead, from 12\u201318 October 2025, Professor Dokrak Marod, along with International Affairs Division staff and nine supporting staff members under the KU Staff International Mobility (KUSIM) scheme, will visit Kanazawa University to further enhance academic ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
