The Faculty of Engineering, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chana Raksiri of the Department of Industrial Engineering, who served as the research project leader, presented research and development work conducted in collaboration with the Royal Thai Army at the “Thai Warrior Wisdom Day 2026” event. Organized by the Royal Thai Army\u2019s Research and Development Office, the event took place on Wednesday, 22 July 2026, at the Army Command and General Staff College in Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was aimed at publicizing the Army\u2019s military research and development achievements, promoting the exchange of academic and military technological knowhow, honouring researchers and inventors whose creative innovations benefit the Royal Thai Army, and exhibiting military R&D projects and technologies created by a network of Thai researchers, inventors, and research partners from various sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kasetsart University\u2019s Faculty of Engineering presented two key research projects that have been conducted jointly with the Royal Thai Army:
\u2022 Research and development of a turret control-and-command platform for detecting and neutralizing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
\u2022 Research and development of a turret for countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
