On 4 September, 2026, our Faculty of Engineering\u2019s Department of Water Resources Engineering organized a special guest lecture for the course 01209425, Hydraulics of Water Supply Distribution Systems<\/em>, on the topic, \u201cTechnology for Network Management and Leakage Control.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two internationally recognized speakers were invited: Mr Michael K. Jacoby, Managing Director of Tara Asia Co., Ltd., and Mr Frederic Gillant, APAC Director of Ovarro Sdn Bhd. Both are experts from leading companies specializing in industrial water-measurement products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the session, students learned about cutting-edge innovations and equipment for reducing water loss caused by leaks in water-supply systems, including a wide range of technologies, practical applications, and operational processes for efficiently controlling and reducing water loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
