Traditional mechanical engineering may no longer be enough. Recently, faculty members from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, held an orientation seminar introducing students to the AI-Integrated Engineering Program (AIEP 4+1)<\/strong>. The event drew high interest from students eager to equip themselves with future-proof tech skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cross-disciplinary collaboration goes beyond general AI theory. It aims directly at building Physical AI<\/strong>: intelligent systems that integrate AI algorithms with mechanical systems, computing hardware, and the physical world \u2014 helping transform the industries of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Why study AI-Integrated Mechanical Engineering (IUP 4+1) at KU Mech?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Earn bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in five years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apply them in fields including robotics, autonomous systems, digital twins, and smart factories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Real-world impact and industry co-design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will take part in research and capstone projects with expert faculty and global industry partners, tackling real-world problems from the classroom. The aim is not simply to pass exams, but to create innovations that work in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
