He joined a meeting to discuss plans for advancing and expanding engineering collaboration between Thailand and France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yossawat Iamcharoenchai, Director of ECAM LaSalle Asia Pacific, also joined on behalf of ECAM LaSalle, a leading French engineering institution, in order to help shape a shared, cross-national strategic direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Building on a successful collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This collaboration builds on a strong foundation of highly successful joint initiatives, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Extensive faculty and student exchanges:<\/strong> Ongoing exchanges involving faculty members and students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Multi-National Workshop for Engineering Students:<\/strong> An international, hands-on engineering workshop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Semester 5 Transfer Program:<\/strong> A program that hosts French students to study and conduct research alongside Thai students for one semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Double Degree Program:<\/strong> A dual-degree program that prepares highly capable and globally competitive engineers through study at both institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/en.eng.ku.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/41-1-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.eng.ku.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/41-1-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/en.eng.ku.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/41-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/en.eng.ku.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/41-1-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/en.eng.ku.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/41-1.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This tripartite alliance aims to deliver direct benefits to the Department\u2019s students by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Expanding academic and research pathways:<\/strong> Creating more opportunities for learning, exchange, and interdisciplinary research between Thailand and France.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Building an international learning ecosystem:<\/strong> Strengthening the global classroom and enriching a seamless international learning experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deepening strategic partnerships:<\/strong> Solidifying ties among Kasetsart University, leading French educational institutions, and the French Embassy in Thailand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department extends its sincere thanks to the French Embassy in Thailand and ECAM LaSalle for their enduring trust, strong friendship, and longstanding partnership.
