Students from our Faculty of Engineering, Keio University, and Ecam Lasalle University visit factories in Chonburi and Rayong Provinces

Asst. Prof. Dr. Patamaporn Sripadungtham, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aphichart Rodchanarowan, Deputy Dean for Human Resources, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Chaiyaworapuek, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Prof. Tatsuo Sawada from the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keita Ando and Asst. Prof. Dr. Linyu Peng from Keio University, Japan, led students from the Faculty of Engineering, Japan’s Keio University as well as France’s Ecam Lasalle University, 24 people in total, on a visit to the factory sites of Siam Compressor Industry Co., Ltd., in Chonburi, and SNC Former Public Company Limited, in Rayong. The management teams of both companies welcomed their visitors and accompanied them on a detailed tour of the production processes and management practices within both factories.

The study visit was held on 20 and 21 March 2023 in order for students learn about the working cultures and production systems of leading industrial factories and gain valuable experience before proceeding towards their future careers.
