University management team’s visit to China to promote collaboration in education, research, and innovation

Professor Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, traveled to the People’s Republic of China with the university management team between October 28 and November 4, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen relationships and enhance collaboration in academic, research, and innovation activities. This included student and staff exchanges, curriculum development, and research initiatives in Beijing, Zhuozhou City, Shandong Province, Changtang City, Shandong Province, and Shanghai.

During the visit to the People’s Republic of China, the dean explored and engaged in discussions on academic collaboration, participating in the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Kasetsart University (KU) and various Chinese universities. These universities included the University of Science and Technology Beijing in Beijing, Shandong University of Technology in Zhuozhou City, Qingdao University in Changtang City, and Shanghai Jiaotong University in Shanghai. The visit is expected to foster academic and research collaboration, as well as future student and staff exchange activities between KU and the Chinese universities.
