Mr Narin Chomcharoen, a master’s degree student from the Department of Materials Engineering, received the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award and Best Oral Presentation Award for his research into the improvement of the optical properties of AISI 304 stainless steel as a solar absorbing application by surface modification using pulsed laser, at the 9th Joint Conference on Renewable Energy and Nanotechnology (JCREN 2020), which was held through the Zoom Meeting system. The conference took place on 29 October 2020 at Khon Kaen University. Mr Narin was guided and supported in his research by Dr. Dr.Krissada Surawathanawises, Department of Materials Engineering, as his advisor.
