IDDP working committee visited RMIT University, Australia

Asst.Prof.Siripong Atipan, Head of Aerospace Engineering Department with Assoc.Prof.Vejapong Juttijudata, IDDP working committee chairperson, and Mr.Vis Sripawadkul, along with IDDP staffs visited RMIT University, Australia between May 5-12, 2023. The activities are as follows;

Meeting with Prof.Charlie Xue, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor International- STEM College, Prof.Roy Kerby, Dean School of Engineering, Prof.Jennifer Palmer, Associate Dean of Aerospace Engineering and Aviation and related staff to follow up on IDDP operations and discuss possibilities on scholarships, internship and job opportunities, program promotions, and inviting lectures.

Meeting with Prof.Kevin Zhang, Associate Dean, Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Prof. Namita Roy Choudhury, Associate Dean, Chemical and Environment Engineering, and Ms. Lea Vasic, Director of Aviation Academy to explore possibilities to expand double degree courses in graduate level and other disciplines.

Visit RMIT University research facilities: Advance Manufacturing Precinct, Composite Material Manufacturing and Testing, Wind Tunnel, Unmanned Aerial Systems and explore possibilities to promote research opportunities.

Get together with IDDP students and alumni from IDDP7 to IDDP21 to exchange ideas to improve IDDP and share experiences on job opportunities .

The International Double Degree Program (IDDP) has been jointly run by Kasetsart University and RMIT University for 24 years. There have been more than 450 graduates from this program.
