On August 28, 2023, Prof. Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pathamaporn Sripadungtham, Vice Dean for International Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Chaiworapuek, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, welcomed a delegation of professors and students from Universiti Malaysia Pahang AI-Sultan Abdulllah (UMPSA), Malaysia, as part of the International Mobility Visit project. Their meeting took place at the main meeting room of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The purpose of the International Mobility Visit project, which took place from August 23 to 28, 2023, was to strengthen relationships between UMPSA and the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University. The project’s coordinator was Assistant Professor Dr. Woraphong Sawangsri from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The project was aimed specifically at implementing sustainable development objectives into practice, including collaboration in research, the sharing of engineering knowledge, backed by the supportive environments of both universities. The project’s activities included visits to various laboratories of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, a seminar to exchange current knowledge and research in engineering as well as various corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, such as planting trees within Kasetsart University’s campus.
