Kasetsart University Signs MoU with Tata Consultancy Services (Thailand) to Foster IT Talent Development

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Kasetsart University and Tata Consultancy Services (Thailand) Limited (TCS). The event was held at the Faculty of Science Conference Room on the 6th floor of the Princess Chulabhorn 60th Birthday Anniversary Science Research Center Building. The MoU highlights mutual cooperation in developing Thailand’s youth in the field of information technology.

Ahead of the official signing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanchai Pluempanupat, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Weerawoot Kanokbannakorn, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Special Activities, Faculty of Engineering, reflected on the long-standing collaboration between TCS and both the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering. They emphasized the shared commitment to fostering innovation and talent development, underscoring TCS’s global legacy of over five decades in technological leadership.

Asst. Prof. Dr.rer.Soc Supapatpimol Simlee, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, also congratulated both institutions on this milestone, noting that the agreement would serve as a strategic foundation for expanding academic and industrial collaborations in the digital age.

Mr. Shivaji Bose, Country Head of TCS Thailand, expressed his appreciation for the fruitful partnership and affirmed TCS’s continued support in strengthening IT education and innovation in Thailand.

Following the MoU signing, a commemorative token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Bose by Asst. Prof. Dr.rer.Soc Supapatpimol Simlee, and participants gathered for a group photograph to mark the occasion.

The success of this ceremony was made possible by the dedicated contributions of the International Affairs Division, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University.
