Faculty members from the Department of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchatee Techaipaisarnjaroenkit, Head of the Department, participated in the presentation of collaborative research outcomes between Kasetsart University (KU) and National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan, at the 2025 Thailand–Taiwan Bilateral Symposium on Science, Agriculture, and Technology, which was held during 11–13 December 2025 at the Centre Point Prime Hotel Pattaya, Chonburi Province.

The symposium was organized by the Faculty of Science at Sriracha, Kasetsart University. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sathaporn Cheupeng, Vice President for Sriracha Campus, with welcoming remarks delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. P. Pungboon Pansila, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Sriracha, and Prof. Mon-Shu Ho, Director of the i-Center for Advanced Science and Technology (i-CAST), National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan, who welcomed researchers from both countries.
The symposium served as a platform to present research outcomes under the ongoing collaborative research framework between Kasetsart University and National Chung Hsing University. The event has been organized annually to promote academic exchange in science, agriculture, and technology, as well as to strengthen academic cooperation and research networks between the two institutions.
Research collaboration between the Department of Materials Engineering, Kasetsart University, and NCHU focuses on materials science and nanotechnology for applications in energy, environmental technologies, and semiconductors. Current joint research involves Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchatee Techaipaisarnjaroenkit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gasidit Panomsuwan, and Assoc. Prof. Chieh-Ting Lin (NCHU), with an emphasis on the development of perovskite semiconductor materials for solar-driven hydrogen production. The collaboration also includes graduate student and postdoctoral researcher exchanges to support sustained joint research activities and academic development.
