
On 15 December 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University (KU), in collaboration with Curtin University, Australia, held the closing ceremony of the Energy Transition Workshop. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University. A certificate presentation ceremony was also held for 31 participating students, with Associate Professor Dr. Chatchapol Changchu, Vice President for Quality Development and Database Systems, Kasetsart University, presiding over the certificate presentation.
The event featured student presentations from the lecture component of the workshop under the themes “Waste to Energy, Solar Energy, Hydrogen, and Hydropower”, within the overarching topic “Designing a Low-Carbon Energy Solution for a Sustainable Community in 2035.” The session was joined by Dr. Chi Phan from Curtin University. The ceremony was attended by university executives, faculty members, and students, and was held at the 19th Floor Conference Room, Building 6, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University.






The Energy Transition Workshop is a collaborative program between the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, and Curtin University, supported by funding from the New Colombo Plan of the Australian Government. The workshop was conducted from 17 November to 16 December 2025 under the theme “Energy Transition: Towards Sustainable Energy.” Participating students engaged in hands-on learning activities, observed instructional practices in energy management, and took part in study visits in Rayong and Kanchanaburi provinces. The program also included cultural learning activities and final project presentations.
This workshop significantly contributed to enhancing students’ academic capabilities, global competencies, and international skills, while also fostering sustainable strategic collaboration between Thai and international higher education institutions.
