On 5–6 February 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, visited Airbus Singapore upon the invitation of Airbus and participated in the Singapore Airshow 2026.
The visit reinforced the Faculty’s commitment to Co-creation and a Global Mindset, promoting close collaboration between academia and industry. Airbus is currently delivering courses to students in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, and two top-performing students were selected to join this exclusive visit. Kasetsart University was the only university from Thailand whose students participated, alongside selected students from NUS and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
During the visit, in-depth discussions were held to expand cooperation beyond Airbus Thailand—where more than half of the workforce are Kasetsart University alumni—toward Airbus Singapore. Key areas of collaboration include joint research programs, internships and industry-based learning, innovation competitions and hackathons, and workshops and seminars led by Airbus experts.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, and Airbus to ensure sustainable collaboration. Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, this partnership is expected to benefit students across all departments of the Faculty and strengthen the development of globally competent engineers.
