
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dulphichet Rerkpreedaphong, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of the contest for the selection round at the Kasetsart University-level in an innovative project for engineering students called “The Comprehensive Course in Japanese Business Innovative Program”. Experts and Academics from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok, joined the judging committee of this contest. The event was held at Room 0313, Chuchat Kamphu Building, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University. This competition is first held at the Kasetsart University-level, before the award winners are able to advance to the next level of this national competition.
The Comprehensive Course in Japanese Business Innovative Program is a project organized by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok, to prepare undergraduate students to understand and successfully enter careers in engineering with the cooperation of three universities in Thailand, namely Kasetsart University, Chulalongkorn University, and King Mongkut’s University of Technology – Thonburi. Students are taught in-depth about Japan’s unique cultural traditions and practices in addition to Japanese business and engineering culture.
