

On March 24, 2025, the Graduate School of Kasetsart University hosted an administrative delegation from Yamaguchi University, Japan. The visit was organized and led by Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphart Khunrattanasiri, Dean of the Graduate School of Kasetsart University, who personally accompanied the visiting delegation to the Faculty of Engineering. This visit formed part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic ties and promote collaborative research and innovation.
The delegation from Yamaguchi University was led by Professor Tsuyoshi Imai from the Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovations, along with Ms. Chisa Yamada, Study Abroad Program Officer. Upon arrival at the Faculty of Engineering, they were warmly received by Assistant Professor Dr. Amornrat Lertworasirikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, and Associate Professor Dr. Sompratana Ritphring from the Department of Water Resources Engineering.
As part of their visit, the delegation toured various departments to engage with faculty members and explore opportunities for academic collaboration. At the Department of Environmental Engineering, they were welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Wilasinee Yoochatchaval, Head of the Department, along with the department’s faculty members. Discussions focused on the department’s innovative inventions and registered intellectual property, highlighting areas for potential joint research and development.





The delegation also visited the Department of Mechanical Engineering, where they were received by Associate Professor Dr. Weerachai Chaiworapeuk, Head of the Department. This part of the tour emphasized the goal of fostering academic knowledge exchange and initiating inter-institutional collaboration in engineering research and education.
This visit underscored the shared commitment of both universities to international cooperation and the advancement of science, technology, and higher education through strategic partnerships.
