On 9 and 10 September 2026, the Department of Aerospace Engineering took fourth-year students in the Aviation Technology Management program, enrolled in course 01225473: Airport Planning and Development, on a field trip to enhance their knowledge and practical experience in airport planning, development, and management.


9 September 2026: The students visited Guardian Blue Airfield, operated by Thanatkorn Fly-In Community Co., Ltd., in Don Ko Ka Subdistrict, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao province. They learned about the airfield’s background, operational procedures, infrastructure, and overall operations.
10 September 2026: The students visited Kanchanaburi Airport to study approaches to airport planning and development, including the design and construction of infrastructure supporting airport operations.



The purpose of this on-the-job study was to provide students with in-depth knowledge and understanding of infrastructure design and construction, as well as airport management. By integrating theoretical knowledge with learning at real operational sites, the activity strengthened students’ skills, experience, and readiness to apply their knowledge in future aviation and airport-related careers.
