The Faculty of Engineering recently welcomed Mr. Alexander Sidorov, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand, to discuss potential collaboration on university-level student exchange programs. The visit aimed to strengthen academic ties and promote mutual understanding between Thai and Russian institutions.
Mr. Sidorov was warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Suchat Leungprasert, Vice Dean for Administration, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buncha Chinnasri from the Faculty of Agriculture, and Asst. Prof. Soravis Supavetch from the Department of Civil Engineering and Kasetsart University’s professors. The meeting included discussions on academic cooperation, joint research opportunities, and the expansion of student mobility programs between the two countries.
This initiative underscores the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and fostering strong global partnerships in higher education.
