On July 23, 2026, Assoc Prof Dr Suchart Luangprasert, Deputy Dean for Administration, together with Asst Prof Dr Jiramet Changklom, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, welcomed a delegation from Southwest Forestry University, People’s Republic of China, to the Faculty of Engineering.
The delegation included Prof Lyu Danju, Asst Prof Niu Ruicheng, and Asst Prof Feng Qi from the College of Big Data and Intelligent Engineering, as well as Assoc Prof Zhou Bei from the College of Materials and Chemical Engineering. Their visit took place in conjunction with their participation in the 2nd Symposium between Kasetsart University and Southwest Forestry University on Science, Technology and Innovation for Young Agricultural and Forestry Scientists, held at Kasetsart University.
Faculty members from the Departments of Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Computer Engineering also joined the welcome. Representatives from both institutions exchanged knowledge and discussed potential avenues for academic collaboration at Meeting Room 0219, Chuchart Kamphu Building, Faculty of Engineering.
