On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) of the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, organized the IUP Connect 2026 event to prepare new batch of students for their upcoming academic year and provide them with the opportunity to get acquainted with fellow classmates, senior students, and faculty members through various fun and creative activities.
The event was made possible through the collaboration of IUP senior students, who designed and facilitated activities to foster positive relationships between seniors and freshmen. The activities also helped develop essential life skills, including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, task delegation, responsibility, and respect for others’ opinions. All of these skills will help students thrive and prosper and settle in well at university.
Throughout the day, new students participated in ice-breaking activities, games, and group exercises filled with fun and laughter. These activities encouraged everyone to open up, learn from one another, and form new friendships that will provide valuable support throughout their university journey. The event aimed to help new students confidently adapt to the learning environment of an international program while building a strong and welcoming network of friends.
