On July 27, 2026, Kasetsart University, through its Faculty of Engineering, participated in the signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the development of standards for the design and construction of precast concrete housing systems.
Representing the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering was Asst Prof Dr Pruek Tangpromptphan, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Industrial Collaboration. He was joined by Prof Dr Amorn Pimanmas of the Department of Civil Engineering, in his capacity as President of the Structural Engineers Association of Thailand and President of the Precast Concrete Association.
They signed the agreement together with Mr Tawepong Wichaidit, Governor of the National Housing Authority, and Asst Prof Dr Porntep Puangprakhon, Vice President for the Institute of Engineering and Industrial Technology at Mahanakorn University of Technology.
The ceremony was held at Watanyu Na Thalang Meeting Room, National Housing Authority.
