On Tuesday 6th October 2020, Mr. Mark Dunn – Chief of Party from Tetra Tech Inc. who represented the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) visited the faculty to introduce the Asia EDGE – Asia Enhancing Development and Growth Through Energy project and discuss the possibility of future cooperation.
Asia EDGE is a U.S. Government-wide initiative to grow sustainable and secure energy markets throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Their efforts are to promote utility modernization through digitization and performance enhancement, foster regional energy connectivity, attract increased levels of private sector investment, and accelerate the adoption of regional and bilateral competitive energy markets. The program which primarily focus on Southeast Asia region is implementing during 2019-2023.
