The Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, together with Curtin University, Australia, organized the Energy Transition Workshop program.

On 18 November 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University (KU), in collaboration with Curtin University, Australia, through the Australian New Colombo Plan (NCP), organized a hands-on workshop on energy innovation and energy transition.
The activity aimed to provide an opportunity for Thai and Australian students to engage in joint academic activities and exchange knowledge on energy and the transition towards sustainable energy systems.

The event began with welcoming remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchat Luengprasert, Vice Dean for Administration, and was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krit Won-in, KU Vice President for Innovation and Social Engagement. Administrators, faculty members, students, and staff from both universities participated in the event, which was held at the 19th-floor conference room, Department of Mechanical Engineering (Building 6), Faculty of Engineering, KU.

The Energy Transition Workshop, organized from November to December 2025, aims to promote academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and educational networking across the Asia–Pacific region. The program seeks to strengthen long-term partnerships and foster strategic cooperation between universities in various fields.

Throughout the workshop, students and faculty from both institutions engage in joint learning activities, exchanging academic perspectives and innovative ideas related to the energy transition and sustainable energy. Participants collaborate in brainstorming sessions, problem analysis, and co-designing engineering-based solutions, culminating in project development and presentations to faculty members. The program also includes site visits to energy and industrial organizations, excursions, and cultural activities that enhance participants’ understanding of Thai society and culture.

All activities are designed to provide hands-on experience, strengthen teamwork skills, and build a strong and sustainable network for future international collaboration.
