Certificate Ceremony of The 4th Multi-National Workshop for Engineering Students in Thailand 2026

27 February 2026 – The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University successfully organized The 4th Multi-National Workshop for Engineering Students in Thailand 2026 — an international academic platform that brought together over 120 participants, including more than 70 international students and faculty members from 14 universities across 11 countries.

The workshop was hosted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University in collaboration with international universities, leading medical institutions, and global industry partners. The program was proudly supported by MinebeaMitsumi as the main sponsor.

The event fostered interdisciplinary learning, with participation from students in:

Throughout the program, students were immersed in a fully English-speaking international environment, where they participated in interdisciplinary engineering–medical workshops, collaborated in cross-cultural teams with peers from around the world, and strengthened their real-world English communication skills. The experience was further enriched through visits to world-class industries, as well as group project development and international presentations that allowed students to exchange ideas, apply their knowledge, and showcase their work on a global stage. This workshop served as a dynamic platform for shaping future Global Engineers, equipping students with both technical expertise and intercultural competence.

In the certificate ceremony held at the Auditorium, 4th Floor, Building 5, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, participants gathered to celebrate the successful completion of the workshop in a warm and inspiring atmosphere. The program began with welcome and congratulatory remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, followed by remarks from a representative of MinebeaMitsumi, the main sponsor. The ceremony also featured a special address by Dr. Amornwan Resanond, representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), who shared valuable perspectives on human development and the role of young engineers in shaping an inclusive future.

The ceremony also featured a special address by Dr. Amornwan Resanond, representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), who shared valuable perspectives on human development and the role of young engineers in shaping an inclusive future.

Student representatives from participating countries then took the stage to share short reflection speeches, offering heartfelt insights and memorable experiences from their time in the program. This was followed by remarks from the Lead of the Workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Chaiworapuek, who reflected on the collaborative efforts behind the program and expressed appreciation to all partners and participants. The audience then enjoyed a presentation of the workshop documentary video, capturing key moments and the vibrant international spirit throughout the week. The ceremony concluded with the official presentation of certificates, followed by closing remarks from Dr. Damrong Sripraram, Acting President of Kasetsart University, and a lively group photo session that marked a proud and memorable ending to this inspiring international journey.

The session broadened students’ perspectives on the vital role of engineering in advancing human development, sustainability, and global responsibility.
