The Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, proudly congratulates Associate Professor Dr. Parinya Chakartnarodom of the Department of Materials Engineering and his research team on receiving multiple awards at the ASIA’S LEADING Invention, Innovation, Technology Competition & Exhibition, held in Malaysia from 18–20 May 2026. His project, “COBRE EcoSkim: Biochar-Enhanced Low-Carbon Skim Coat,” received a Silver Medal and an Honorable Mention Award from Thailand’s National Research Council (NRCT). In addition, his collaborative project with the Materials Science Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, entitled “ALF Eco-Glass: Sustainable Foam Glass Insulation from Industrial Upcycling,” was awarded a Gold Medal and the NRCT Special Award. These achievements highlight the international recognition of research excellence and innovation in sustainable materials developed by Kasetsart University researchers.
