Kasetsart University provides both funding and hands-on learning opportunities, enabling students to apply their knowledge to design, develop, manufacture, and test race cars. The University also supports participation in domestic and overseas competitions in order to build engineering, technology, management, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills, while fostering wider industry collaboration.
Dongtaan Racing began in 2009 as an engineering thesis project. It now includes more than 40 students from several faculties. In 2026, the team won its sixth Thai national championship at the TSAE Auto Challenge and performed strongly at Formula SAE Japan 2026.

Next up, Kasetsart University will support the team’s participation in Formula Student Combustion China 2026 in Chengdu, China, from 3 to 8 November this year. The event will give our students further real-track experience and exposure to international automotive technology.
