Another important step toward building an Industry-Driven Learning Ecosystem! The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, was delighted and honored to welcome Mr Disaniti Towiwat, Managing Director of Thammasorn Co., Ltd. (DOS Life) and a distinguished alumnus of the department, on 30 September 2026. Having built a successful career leading a major business, he returned to help develop the department and share innovations and opportunities with the next generation of students.
The meeting focused on strategies to enhance the learning experience and develop industry-ready skills through three key pillars of collaboration, drawing on DOS Life’s expertise across the ASEAN region.
Three key initiatives to strengthen KU-Mech students’ potential:
- Smart & Advanced Lab Development
Upgrade the department’s laboratories by integrating DOS Life’s cutting-edge regional technologies and innovations in environmental and water management into hands-on teaching and learning. - Self-Branding & Leadership Mastery
Share practical guidance on personal branding and career growth in engineering, based on the executive’s real-world experience, to empower students and ensure they stand out in the global job market. - Next-Gen Co-Working Space (Building 5, 1st Floor)
Transform and support the renovation of the Common Room / Co-Working Space on the first floor of Building 5 into a creative hub for learning, group work, and students’ everyday campus life.
Expanding Horizons for Future Engineering Talents:
The collaboration also explores deep-level initiatives including student internship programs and real-world capstone projects guided by professional engineers from DOS Life.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering expresses its deepest gratitude to Mr Disaniti Towiwat and Thammasorn Co., Ltd. for their commitment to giving back and helping create new opportunities for his alma mater.
An exciting major project is coming soon… Stay tuned for updates!
