The Faculty of Engineering, in conjunction with the Engineering Alumni Association of Kasetsart University, organized the 84th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering on August 1, 2022.
The event consisted of a monks’ chanting and blessing ceremony, which is central to a Buddhist merit-making ceremony. In addition, a flower vase-laying ritual was held at the monument of M.L. Chuchat Kamphu, the founder of the Faculty of Engineering, as well as an awards ceremony and the awarding of scholarships to deserving students. The attendees were university administrators from various campuses, Deans and representatives from each of the faculties and departments, lecturers, Engineering alumni and current students. Together they participated in the ceremony at the Chuchat Kamphu Building and the Boonsom Suwachirat Building.
Furthermore, during the event a seminar on “Chao Phraya River Basin Crisis Flooding in Bangkok and its vicinities – How to solve it?” took place at the Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building at Kasetsart University’s Bangkhen Campus. Finally, various volunteers donated blood, and a thousand trees were planted.
