The Faculty of Engineering organised the 12th Engineering Path Towards Sustainovation Exhibition, showcasing the best of smart innovations aimed at sustainable development.

Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Engineering held the opening ceremony of the 12th Engineering Path
Towards Sustainovation Exhibition, Sustainovation Engineering 2024 – AI, Green, Innovation, on
February 3, 2024 at the Chuchat Kambhu Building, Faculty of Engineering.
Prof. Dr. Wanchai Yodsudjai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, presided over the ceremony. Dr.
Jongrak Watcharinrat, President of Kasetsart University, gave the opening speech. He was accompanied
by Dr. Kritsanaphong Keeratikorn, President of the Kasetsart University Council, who conveyed his
congratulations to the executive team and administrators of the Engineering Alumni Association. A
substantial number of Faculty of Engineering administrators, faculty, alumni, current students and
personnel of the Faculty of Engineering participated in the ceremony. After the opening ceremony, the
executive team visited the research and innovation booth. Lecturers and students who presented their
works to visitors attracted a great deal of interest from the attendees.
The 12th Engineering Path Exhibition was part of the 2024 Agricultural Fair, more popularly known as
the Kaset Fair, held between February 2 and 10, 2024. The event showcased displays of research and
innovation developed by faculty and students of the Faculty of Engineering, as well as works created in
collaboration with external agencies, from both government and private sectors. These comprised 48
works under the concepts of AI, green innovation, and intelligent innovation towards sustainable
development. Training was provided to disseminate knowledge about water resources engineering,
featuring the construction modeling of a robot bridge using 3D technology, a robot building
competition, a booth introducing the study curriculum, as well as the Computer Engineering Talk#3
activity on the topic of AI Technology and Society: Looking Ahead. Food stalls that sold Thai food and
drinks to visitors were set up and staffed by former and current students of our faculty.
Innovative works displayed at the event were divided into 8 categories, as follows:

  1. Sustainable Energy and Materials
  2. Technology, Innovation and Materials Molding
  3. Smart and Digital Electronics
  4. Smart Agriculture
  5. Agriculture and Food
  6. Robotics and Agriculture
  7. Automotive and Aerospace
  8. Robotics for Health and Education
