The Faculty of Engineering welcomed UNOC of Uganda and Curtin University of Australia to discuss cooperation in establishing the Center of Excellence in Energy Transition (CEET).

On February 12th, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prapot Kunthong, Vice Dean for Academic Service and Industry Engagement, along with Dr. Kanet Katchasuwanmanee, Assistant Dean for Academic Service and Industry Engagement, warmly received Dr. Simon Echegu and his team from Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) and Professor Kevin Fynn, Director of Industry Collaboration at Curtin University, Australia, at the Dean’s reception room, Chuchat Kamphu Building.

The discussion aimed to explore avenues for collaboration in establishing CEET. Following the meeting, representatives from UNOC and Curtin University exchanged knowledge and experiences in energy at the conference room, Mechanical Engineering Department building.
