On Friday 31st July 2020, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University celebrated its 82nd Anniversary of the establishment. The event was led by Associate Professor Dr. Peerayuth Charnsethikul, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and was attended by Dr. Chongrak Watcharinrat, President of Kasetsart University and representatives of the Faculty’s management, KU management representatives, as well as Faculty staff and alumni. The schedule included a Buddhist ceremony, the offering of alms to monks, and the placing of remembrance flowers in front of M.L. Chuchat Kamphu statue, at Chuchat Kamphu building.
On this occasion, the Faculty of Engineering alumni also arranged two special lectures on the topics of “Digital Transformation after the COVID-19 Crisis” by Mr. Nontawat Poomchusri from Accenture Thailand, and “Direction and Trends of IoT (Internet of Things) applications in Thailand after COVID-19” by Mr. Niti Mekmok from Synergy Technology Co. Ltd. Both lectures were held in Room 0410 (4th floor) of the Chuchat Kamphu building.
