








On 13 November 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Srijidtra Charoenlarpnopparut, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs and Lifelong Learning, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Paweena Prapainainar, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Chair of the SERE (Sustainable Energy and Resource Engineering) Program, Asst. Prof. Dr. Achara Pichetjamroen, Chair of the AIOT (Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things) Program, together with faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering, warmly welcomed a delegation from Nantes University, France.
The visit aimed to finalize preparations for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Kasetsart University’s AIOT and SERE programs and two corresponding master’s programs at Nantes University:
- Master in Thermal Science and Energy
- Master in Embedded Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
During the visit, the delegation also held discussions with faculty members from KUIC to prepare the study plan and internship program, which are expected to begin in February 2026.
On 14 November 2025, Prof. Xavier Py from the Department of Thermal Energy and Mechanics, Nantes University, delivered a special lecture for first- and second-year students from the SERE and AIOT programs, as well as interested faculty members. The lecture, titled “Alternative High-Temperature Thermal Energy Storage from Rocks and Industrial Wastes,” was held at Room 0313, 3rd Floor, Chuchat Kamphu Building.
In addition, Nantes University representatives provided information about the collaborative exchange program and offered an opportunity for students to ask questions about scholarships and study options directly.
This visit marked another important step in strengthening academic collaboration and expanding international partnerships between the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, and Nantes University.
