On August 27, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Bang Khen campus, showcased three high-potential research, innovation, and intellectual-property projects at the “Intellectual Property Expo: Driving Thai Businesses Towards the Future (IPxVenture Rise Thailand 2026)”. The event was organized by the Department of Intellectual Property in collaboration with Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI).


The exhibition took place from August 27 to 29, 2026, at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani. Our faculty’s projects were centered around AI-driven technology:
- Health Screening Assistance Robot — a research project by Assistant Professor Dr Rerngtiwa Tippayasak and Assistant Professor Dr Phatcharee Toghaw Thongrattana, both of our faculty’s Department of Industrial Engineering.
- Leak Detection System Combined with Artificial Sound-Wave Generation over the Internet — Research conducted by Associate Professor Dr Chaiporn Jaikaeo, Associate Professor Dr Adichai Pornprommin, and Dr Natchapol Charuwimolkul, Faculty of Engineering.
- Autonomous robotic system for food preparation and flavor and aroma detection using an intelligent sensor network and artificial intelligence, which aims to elevate the standards of the Thai food industry. Research by Assoc Prof Dr Chowarit Mitsantisuk, Prof Dr Wanchai Yodsudjai, and Assoc Prof Dr Srijidtra Charoenlarpnopparut, Faculty of Engineering.
