The Faculty of Engineering would like to congratulate the students of our Hona Ne team for winning the innovative ideas competition called “Innovation for the New Normal”, which forms part of the program “The 2021 Comprehensive Course in Japanese Business Innovation” from Mr. Takeo Kato, Vice President of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok and President of the Department of the Study Committee on Social Contribution. It was held on November 4, 2021 at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok at All Seasons Place, Bangkok.
The team presented an innovative concept in their work titled “7 Things (Finding Stone)”, an electronic board game for children to engage in activities to develop various skills while reducing the concerns of parents and risks to children. The game’s objectives are to enhance the process of thinking, analysis, problem solving, IQ and EQ. Robots will be developed that can help children in various ways in order to make them feel like they have friends to play with and stories to share.
