When world-class fire protection technology meets the KU Engineering learning experience! The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, in collaboration with Firetech Innovation Co., Ltd., organized an exciting innovation-focused event featuring a live demonstration of the Smart Explosion-Proof Firefighting and Scouting Robot, designed by Zhejiang HuaXiao Technology Co., Ltd., of China. More than 80 faculty members and students attended with great interest.
The 40-minute demonstration featured:
Smart Perception & Control – A showcase of its 360° thermal imaging system with real-time video feedback via a lightweight handheld remote controller.
Live Fire Suppression – A powerful demonstration of the robot’s precise water-jet fire-extinguishing system.
All-Terrain Mobility – Navigation and obstacle-crossing demonstrations in a simulated field environment.
Bridging Classroom Theory with Hands-On Experience: The event was designed to create hands-on learning experiences across academic levels by integrating classroom knowledge with practical demonstrations. It broadened the perspectives of both undergraduate and graduate students.
