The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, proudly congratulates Mr Anurak Eakphayong, a second-year master’s degree student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, supervised by Assistant Professor Dr Supasit Rodkwan.
Mr Anurak received the Second Runner-Up Award in the Agriculture and Agro-Processing category for his work, “Vacuum Frying Machine with a Continuous Hot-Air Oil Removal System,” at the 2026 Technology for Equipment and Machinery Awards.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with the Thai Machinery Association. Professor Dr Supachai Pathumnakul presided over the award ceremony, held at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, on September 16, 2026.
The innovation’s outstanding features:
The “Vacuum Frying Machine with a Continuous Hot-Air Oil Removal System” is an innovative piece of machinery developed to improve the efficiency of agricultural product processing. It reduces residual oil in finished products while effectively preserving nutritional value. This innovation represents another step towards creating advanced machinery systems that support Thailand’s agro-processing industry.
