On 12 September, 2026, the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, visited Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. for an educational site visit. Dr Boontham Paweenwan, together with third- and fourth-year undergraduate students from the department, participated in the activity.
The visit was organized as part of the Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering course, giving students the opportunity to learn from real-world experience in an industrial setting. They also gained valuable knowledge and insights from Mr Pornchai Phuengkhuntrairat, Operations Manager, who shared his perspectives and professional experience in the relevant field, helping students prepare for their future careers.
The department sincerely thanks the management and staff of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. for their warm welcome and for generously sharing their knowledge and experience with the students. The department hopes that students will be able to apply the knowledge and experience gained to their studies and future professional careers.
