The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, is delighted and honoured to welcome teachers and 40 upper-secondary students (Grades 10 to 12) from Assumption College for an exclusive study visit on 20 September 2026. They experienced the learning environment and real work conducted in industrial-level research laboratories.
Highlights of the visit:
- Explore three future-focused programs – The students learned about study paths, preparation, and career opportunities directly from department faculty in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical-Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering (EMME), and Digital Manufacturing and Robotics Integration Engineering (DMRIE).
- A close encounter with Dongtaan Racing – They took a close look at the student Formula Student race car and heard senior students share their hands-on experience designing, performing engineering calculations, and assembling a real competition vehicle.
- Visit to the Robotics & Automatic Control Labs – They experienced industrial robotic-arm technology, automated systems, and advanced control systems used in modern factories.
- Tour of the Cleanroom Technology Research Laboratory – They paid a visit to an internationally standardized cleanroom research space for advanced research and specialized innovations, rarely available for public viewing.
