On 20 October 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Kampanat Pensupar, Vice President for International Affairs, Kasetsart University, along with Associate Professor Dr. Chawalit Kittichaikarn, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Engineering; Mrs. Hathaitus Semchuchot, Acting Director of International Affairs Division, Foreign Relations Officer, Senior Professional Level; and personnel of the International Relations Division visited Vietnam National University of Agriculture and received a warm welcome from Professor Dr. PhamVan Cuong, Vice President, along with the executive team including faculty members from Vietnam National University of Agriculture who graduated from Kasetsart University. This visit to Vietnam National University of Agriculture is a good opportunity for both institutions to discuss the implementation of projects and academic cooperation activities together, including the renewal of the academic cooperation agreement at the university level, which expired in September 2023. The projects and activities that both Institutions are interested in continuing and working together include:
- Student exchange with credit transfer
- Recruiting students and personnel from Vietnam National University of Agriculture to study at Kasetsart University.
- Faculty exchange in teaching and learning, both online and on-site formats.
- Collaborative research includes preparing a joint research project proposal to apply for research grants from organizations and international agencies.
- International conferences and/or joint academic seminars in on-site and online formats.
In addition, the Vice President for International Affairs, at Kasetsart University also promoted and invited Vietnam National University of Agriculture to nominate students to apply for scholarships in the short-term scholarship program for international students (KU One Semester Scholarship Program for International Students: KUOSSPIs) and the summer school program in April 2024 at Kasetsart University.
