Representatives from the Faculty of Engineering, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aphichart Rodchanarowan, Vice Dean for Human Resources, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanin Panjapornpon, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchatee Techapiesancharoenkij, Head of the Department of Materials Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wilasinee Yoochatchaval, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering, along with other faculty members, were invited to discuss research collaboration at universities in the Republic of China (Taiwan). These universities included Yuan Ze University, Ming Chi University of Technology, Tunghai University, National Tsing Hua University, and Tamkang University.
The discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration, including the exchange of faculty and students for research purposes, visits to research laboratories, introductions to teaching and learning curricula, and introductions to the various departments within the Faculty of Engineering at Kasetsart University. These exchanges aim to provide information to students in Taiwanese universities about potential graduate study opportunities.
Existing Collaborations
Yuan Ze University and Ming Chi University of Technology: The Faculty of Engineering already has established collaborations with both Yuan Ze University and Ming Chi University of Technology in writing academic articles and conducting joint research.
National Tsing Hua University: Students from National Tsing Hua University participated in a successful engineering workshop held in Thailand during February 2024.
Tamkang University: Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Engineering has a well-established dual master’s degree program with Tamkang University in the field of environmental and water resources engineering since 2022.
