Collaboration with CRRC Qingdao Sifang, National Innovation Center of High Speed Train, South West Jiaotong University, Rail Technology Research and Development Agency, and Kasetsart University


On July 11, 2024, the memorandum of understanding was signed by representatives of CRRC Qingdao Sifang, National Innovation Center of High Speed Train, South West Jiaotong University, Rail Technology Research and Development Agency, and Kasetsart University. The main purposes are:

  • To provide training and teaching of the Chinese High Speed Rail Technology to Thai students and engineers 2. To foster educational activities between Thai and Chinese parties on High Speed Rail
  • To facilitate High Speed Rail technology transfer activities between Thailand and China
  • To collaborate on related research activities
    The near term activities will include the specialized class on the Chinese High Speed Rail Technology to be offered as a special problems class for IUP students, and the future student exchange activities between SWJTU and KU.
