Here’s a look back at the opening event for “Toyota Young Engineer Car Contest: Start Your Passion, Shape Your Ideas — Year 2,” held last Saturday, 19 September, at Bira Circuit, located near Pattaya in Chonburi province.
Students from 11 leading universities across Thailand, including Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Engineering, came together to show off their ideas and compete to design body kits for the YARIS ATIV HEV Premium, with more than 650,000 baht in scholarships up for grabs.
The students also took part in hands-on workshops led by experts. Special guest Ull Phakphum kept the energy high throughout the event. And, as a special highlight, participants got to experience the YARIS ATIV HEV Challenge Cup on a real race track, alongside professional drivers from Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand!
